Suspected of robbing the mail.

--Sam, a slave, in the employ of Mr. R. B. Crow, who has charge of the Custom-House at night, was arrested and carried before Recorder Caskie yesterday, on suspicion of robbing the United States mail bags at the Post-Office, which is kept in the basement of the Custom-House building. The Recorder sent the accused before United States Commissioner Watson for examination.
