Fort Pickens to be reinforced.

--The Washington correspondent of the Baltimore Sun gives the following intelligence:

‘ It is confidently rumored that orders have been sent for the landing at Fort Pickens of the two companies of artillery that were sent out in the United States ship-of-war Brooklyn, under the orders of the late Administration, for the succor of that fort. The order was suspended by President Buchanan, and is now said to have been renewed. The military status will thus be changed on the part of the United States Government. Whether the Government of the Confederate States will permit this, we are to see. It is not believed, however, that President Davis will order an assault of the fort prior to a formal demand for its surrender, and this demand he will not, it is said, make immediately.
