Wouldn't accept him.

--A few days ago Postmaster General Montgomery Blair removed Mr. Pritchard, Mail Agent on the Manassas Gap Railroad, and appointed in his stead a Republican, named Bear from Rockingham. As soon as this change became known to Mr. Edward C. Marshall, the President of the road, he promptly informed Mr. Blair that either his appointee or the United States mail must be removed from the road. The result was the reinstatement of Pritchard.
