Horrible affair.

--A horrible affair occurred the other day near Douglas' Mills, Allegheny county, Pa. It appears that a young man named Bill Jones, a half brother of the notorious Charlotte Jones, who, with Henry Fife, was executed some three years since at Pittsburgh, for the murder of George Wilson and Elizabeth McMasters, threw his wife into the fire while under the influence of liquor, and held her there until she was burned in shocking manner. Her cries were fearful, and were distinctly heard several rods from the house. The woman lingered a few days in fearful agony, when death stepped in and relieved her of her sufferings. There has been no arrest made.
