Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.
crops in Roanoke.

Bonsack's, Va., June 3.
The prospect of an abundant wheat crop in Roanoke, so far as I have been, is most flattering. Corn and oats are backward. The grass crop is very abundant. We are plentifully supplied with everything except that little convenience called ‘"money."’ The seasons are favorable, and all nature seems to smile cheerfully, except God's noblest workmanship, who seems to feel sensibly the sombre gloom that pervades the soul, owing to our unfortunate political troubles.
