French interests in South America.

--The Paris Sickle, of the 9th of May, says:

M. Laferriere, delegate of the Frenchmen who for fifteen years have been demanding indemnities from the Government of Uruguay, has sent us a report on the matter, which states that, though by the intervention of the Cabinets of Paris and London indemnities were promised both to the French and English sufferers, the Government of Montevideo has on different pretexts not paid them. Must France send a naval division to support demands of which the justice has been recognized?
