The Massachusetts Regiment.

--A New York morning paper has an article extolling the gallantry of the Massachusetts Regiment. A letter from one of Col. Duryea's men to the New York Day Book says:

‘ "The Massachusetts men encouraged us when we were charging, but not a man of them ventured to follow us, until the shot from the battery was directed towards the woods, where we had entered. They praise us very highly for our gallantry, and well they may, when we compare it to theirs."
