Pistol practice.

--Richard, slave of John Græme, Jr., was before the Mayor yesterday on a charge of shooting a pistol at Lewis, slave of Dr. Seeley. It was proved that Richard fired at a trespassing cow, and that the pistol was loaded with blank cartridge, notwithstanding Lewis swore he heard a ball whistle past his head. Case dismissed.
