Cultivation of sugar cane in Philadelphia.

--The China sugar cane has been successfully cultivated this year by many farmers in the western part of Chester county, Pa. The crop is quite abundant. A Mr. Cloud, near Cochranville, has a mill that is running day and night, in the manufacture of molasses by steam power. The apprehension that sugar would be dear, induced the farmers to go extensively into the cultivation of the Sorghum.
