--The New Orleans Sunday Delta has been furnished with the following card, addressed to the Presbyteries (O. S.) of the Confederate States of America:

At the request of a majority of the Presbyteries, in their name, and by their authority, the undersigned hereby convoke a general assembly, to be composed of Commissioners from all the Presbyteries, (O. S.) of the Confederate States of America, to meet in the city of Augusta, Ga., on Wednesday, the 4th of December next, at 11 o'clock A. M.

The last Moderator of the old Assembly present has been requested to preach the opening sermon, and preside until a Moderator is elected, who will be Rev. F. McFarland, D. D., of Virginia.
