The prisoners in Fort Lafayette.

A letter from Fort Lafayette says that the crew and passengers of the blockade-running steamer Huntress, which was burnt off Charleston bar a few weeks since, are now confined in that prison. They are eleven in number, and were picked up at sea after escaping from the burning ship. Among the passengers are Thomas Steers, of Va, a passenger, and W. A. Beeson, of Va, a sailor. Among the other prisoners in the fort are John Hopkins, jr, of Va, who has been confined there ever since he resigned his post in the U. S. Navy, August 17th, 1861; Maj. Reid Saunders, of Ky; Col. Zarvons, of Md., (in solitary confinement;) Gen. Williamson, Maryland; Col. Andrew Talcott, of the city of Mexico; Chas Dayrers, of Tampico, Mexico; and Capt D. B. Vincent, of Charleston, S. C.
