Yankee raid into Pendleton.

The Abolitionists made another raid into Prediction county, Va., last Tuesday week, taking Franklin, (the county seat) in their circuli of visitation. They numbered probably 150 cavalry, and remained there ant a short time. Their object seemed to be to plunder and rob the people although they carried off as prisoners three citizens of Franklin, vis: Geo. W. Blakeman, Attorney for the Commonwealth for Pendicton county; John Robinson, and Peter Wansturf. They stole and carried off a number of horses, a quantity of bacon, etc. Pendicton is one of the counties included within the limits of the bogus State of Western Virginia, and is greatly exposed to these robbers of the defenceless people of the mountains.
