Vallandigham in Ohio.

A gentleman who arrived in this city yesterday, and who saw a Northern paper of the 12th inst., says that the Democratic Convention which assembled at Columbus, Ohio, on the 11th inst., nominated Hon. C. L. Vallandigham for Governor, and passed resolutions demanding of the Administration that he be permitted to return to that State.

Our informant also states that the list of Yankee officers killed and wounded in the fight at Brandy Station is very long, and contains some prominent names.
