And Brieck message was received from the house communicating information of the district of the Hon. John A. Wilcox
, and resolution.
, after an appropriate eulogy, upon the deceased, moved the adoption of the following resolution:
Resolved, That the Senate receives with sincere regret the announcement of the death of the Hon. Lieut.
A Wilcox, and a member of the House of representatives from the State of Texas
, and senders to the deceased the ascertained their sympathy with them under the affirmative bereavement they have been called to suspension.
Resolved, That the Secretary
of the Senate be assign to the most of the family of the deceased entitled copy of the foregoing resolution.
Resolved, That, as a mark of respect for the army of the deceased, the Senate do now adjourned.
After eulogies by Senators Henry

and Paclan, of Mississippi
, the resolution, were adopted, and the Senate accordingly adjourned.
The proceedings of the House
