Florida.

--During the war there have been four invasions of Florida. The first was in March, 1862, when they came to "protect." The second was in October, 866, under Gen. John M. Brannon--an operation in niggers, of which a wheel cargo were carried away. The third was in March, 1863,--an experiment with black regiments. The fourth and last was in February, 1864 --an attempt to take and hold. This likewise has proven a failure.
