That French tobacco.

It is now definitely ascertained that the French vessels referred to in our issue of yesterday took away 120 hogsheads of tobacco. One hundred and twenty more had reached Petersburg, and would have been sent to City Point on Sunday afternoon but for the arrival of Butler's messenger. The total amount purchased by the French agents was 7,000 hogsheads, 1,300 of which was stored in Petersburg.
