Hustings Court, Judge presiding.

" H. Sands, Esq., acted as prosecutor in this Court yesterday. The following is a summary of the cases:

George Turner, indicted for stealing sundry goods and chattels from Wm. B Jones, was tried and found guilty. He was afterwards remanded to jail to await his sentence, which will be pronounced by the Judge this morning. Having been previously found guilty of petit larceny, and confined in the city jail, conviction of the same offence this time makes his imprisonment in the penitentiary one year.

’ The trial of Thomas J. Horseley, indicted for grand larceny, was postponed till the next term.

The Court then adjourned to this morning at 10 o'clock.
