Victory at Petersburg.

Petersburg, August 26.
--Lieutenant-General A. P. Hill engaged the enemy near Reams's station, twelve miles below here, yesterday evening, dislodging them from the railroad at that point, capturing between fifteen hundred and two thousand prisoners and nine pieces of artillery.

Our loss is not heavy. Brigadier-General Spears, the notorious Yankee raider, is reported captured.

Captain Clarke, Assistant Adjutant-General of Wilcox's brigade, is slightly wounded.
