The Georgia Legislature and Governor Brown.

--We find the following in the Tuesday's proceedings of the Georgia House of Delegates:

Mr. West moved to take up his resolutions in relation to pledging this State to a vigorous prevention of the war.

Mr. Ezzard offered the following:

‘ "Resolved, That the General Assembly earnestly recommend that our Government make to the United States officials offers of peace on the basis of the great principles of our common fathers in 1776.

"Resolved further, That our Senators and Representatives in Congress be requested to use their influence to stop this unnatural stride, looking forward to the time when peace may be obtained upon just and honorable terms."
