Fires.

--The accidental burning of a small coal-house on the premises of Mr. Frank Allen, French Garden Hill, about six o'clock yesterday morning, caused the ringing of the alarm bells and the turning out of the firemen. Loss trifling.

The cause of the alarm about twelve o'clock yesterday was the burning of the roof of the residence of Neil McCurdy, on the corner of Twenty-first and Main streets. The fire was extinguished before the arrival of the firemen. Loss small.
