An Emperor's present.

--On the occasion of the new year, the Emperor presented to the son of Prince Napoleon an automaton toy, representing a gardener with a barrow. The figure walks backward and forward, and turns its head in the most natural manner, at the same time wheeling before it whatever may be put in the borrow.
