--The following cases were disposed of in this Court yesterday:
William Wall,
Daniel Wren and
H. G. Hewter were charged with selling liquor to soldiers, found guilty, and each fined twenty-five dollars. The fines were paid and the parties released.
William Cary, negro, charged with stealing five dollars, was found guilty and sentenced to Castle Thunder for sixty days.
Peter Names, of the Eleventh United States infantry, was found guilty of being drunk and in the city without a pass, and sent to the
Castle for twenty days.
Benjamin M. Cormick, of the same regiment, charged with burglary, was committed to await his trial before a military commission.
Neal Duffy, of the Twenty-fourth Massachusetts volunteers, was sent to the
Castle for fifteen days for drunkenness.
