Plan:
Polygonal peribolos wall with a propylon. Doric tetrastyle prostyle gate was approached by a ramp from the southwest, and divided by interior piers and columns into 3 aisles.
History:
Walled sanctuary with trees, statues and an altar to the hero Pelops, at the same general location as the earliest houses and graves (3rd millennium B.C.) at Olympia.
