Decoration Description:
The head is in red with a weakly-modeled neck. The lips curl slightly upward. The lower lip is cleft, and between the upper lip and the nasal septum, there is a deep vertical depression. The ends of the mouth are finished off with black arcs. The irises of the eyes are red, pupils black, and the iris is separated from the whites of the eyes by black circles. Eyebrows are indicated by broad black strokes. The hair on the forehead is raised and finished in dots, stopping in front of the ears. The rest of the head is covered with a black and red-checked scarf, held in place by a bandeau in front with a design of chevrons, and another horizontal bandeau with a design of squares. At the back are two bosses, which represent the ends of a large fibula.
Between the head and neck of the oinochoe is a cushion, the top of which is treated with a palmette-lotus design in red figure, while on the side there is an egg-and-dart pattern. At the bottom of the handle there is an addorsed palmette motive. Above the cushion is undecorated.
