--James S. Albright Private Secretary to Gov. Shorter, of Alabama, was killed at Montgomery, Ala., on the 26th inst., by failing from the third story window of the capitol building.
He had been for many years a clerk in the capitol, and was a much esteemed citizen of Montgomery.
