Ranaway--$100 reward --From the subscriber, Monday morning, Oct. 20th, my negro man Peter Grant, a shoemaker. He is about 30 years of age; smoked bacon color; 5 feet 8 inches high; rather delicate looking man, s ruptured in the navel. He was seen at the Central railroad depot Tuesday morning, Oct. 21st, and is probably making his way towards Orange county, where he came from. Porcher Miles in the 2d district, he was unanimously re-elected. Affairs as usual at the batteries. [second Dispatch.] Charleston, Oct. 21. --A reconnoitering party of the enemy, in barges, was discovered near Fort Sumter last night, between 12 and 1 o'clock, and driven off with grape-shot. From Gordonsville. Gordonsville, Oct. 21. --Everything appears quiet in front to-day. Most of the prisoners who went through here to Richmond last night were foreigners, and expressed themselves as tired of the war. Many of them wanted to take the oath of allegiance. It is reported that Gen. Imboden has taken 700 prisoners at Kernstown.
