Tucker, Nathaniel Beverly 1784-1851 Lawyer; born in Williamsburg, Va., Sept. 6, 1784; graduated at William and Mary College in 1801; admitted to the bar and practised in his native State till 1815, when he removed to Mississippi, serving there as judge in the circuit court till 1830. Returning to Virginia he was Professor of Law at William and Mary College in 1834-51. He was the author of A Key to the disunion conspiracy; Discourse on the dangers that threaten the free institutions of the United States; Lectures intended to prepare the student for the study of the Constitution of the United Slates, etc. He died in Winchester, Va., Aug. 26, 1851.
