9th Louisiana were killed by the premature explosion of one of our own shells. A wounded soldier who left the fight early yesterday afternoon tells me that Anderson's division engaged the enemy and drove them back. A prisoner told him only one corps had come over. I hear since that four are on this side. The enemy were easily driven back at first, but being reinforced by a division of regulars, they fought better, but were driven three miles. Fifty dollars reward. --Will be paid for the apprehension of my negro man Anderson, who ranaway in the city of Richmond on the 13th inst. Anderson is about 20 years old; black; well formed, and about 5 feet 7 inches high. Has no scars or marks on him. The above reward will be paid for his apprehension and delivery to Hill, Dickinson & Co. Alex Peirch.
