Mayor's Court. --The most interesting case before this court yesterday morning, was that of Lewis H. Allen, a boy about fourteen years of age, who was charged with forging the name of Mr. John H. Baptist to an order on the post-office for letters, and receiving the said letters. It appeared that accused and an older boy on last Sunday morning obtained some twenty-five or thirty letters from box 332 on an order purporting to be signed by Mr. Baptist, but which was a forgery.
