A Titled American. --A ducal title had been offered to the American Bonaparte. Here is the letter by which the offer was made. The commercial form of Mr. Fould's letter will probably raise a smile on many a countenance: "To Monsieur Jerome Bonaparte, Baltimore:" "Sir The Emperor has ordered me to acquaint you with his desire that you take, on your return to France, the title of Duke de Sartene. I need not insist upon the reasons which have engaged his Majesty to adopt this means of ending the difficulties you are aware of. The Emperor's intention is, that your son shall bear the title of Count de Sartene. I shall wait your reply, to lay your decision before him. I am, sir, &c., "Fould." Paris August 17th, 1855
