Contributions. --We have received, through the mail, from a lady of Christiansburg, who requests us not to publish her name, $5 for the benefit of the Maryland Volunteers. She promises to add some socks to her contribution. We have received a note from Powhatan Court-House, with Eleven Dollars enclosed, for the benefit of the "Hampton Sufferers," which shall be disposed of as directed by the contributors, viz: "Mrs. J.
