Court proceedings. Mayor's Court, Monday, Jan. 12. --James Tierney, the lad arrested by the police with a small wagon load of iron in his possession supposed to have been stolen, was subjected to an examination and acquitted. Nicholas Noland, Robt McCoy, and Hugh McCullen, three soldiers, arrested for drunkenness and disorderly conduct in the house of Thos. Smith, were sent to the Provost Marshal. John Carr, slave of Joseph Hall, for getting drunk and going to sleep in an alley, was ordered a licking.
