Desperate affray. --An affray occurred in the second tier of the theatre on Thursday night, which had a sanguinary result, and may cause the death of one of the parties engaged. At present it is impossible to give a minute statement of the affair; but the report is that a soldier, belonging to Caskie's Rangers, was set upon by a Baltimorean named Patrick Callahan, and summarily kicked down the flight of steps leading to the first tier. The Ranger gathered himself up, drew a long bowie-knife, and rushing back upon his antagonist, dealt him a fearful blow on the head, elevating his skull and making a ghastly wound. The Baltimorean fell, and the soldier immediately left the house. We are informed that he gave the knife to an officer as he went out, but no arrest was made. The wounded man was conveyed to the Medical College Infirmary, by his friends, and we beard yesterday that he was in a critical situation. He denies that he was the offending party, and we therefore do not vo
