e Commonwealth reserves the right to impress the whole of the property hereby intended to be conveyed, if the said Stuart, Buchanan & Co. shall not in good faith execute this contract in all its parts. Witness the following signatures: R. A. Coghill, Ch'n of Senate Committee. B. H. Tomlin Ch'n of House Committee. Stu rt Buchanan & Co. The following resolution ratifying the foregoing contract, was submitted by Mr. Coghill: Resolved by the General Assembly. That the contract entered into on the 25th of March, 1863. be tween Robert A. Coghill, chairman of the Committee of the Senate of Virginia, and H. B. Tomlin, Chairman of the Committee of the House of Delegates of Virginia, the two committees constituting a joint committee of the General Assembly, on the subject of a supply of and Stuart, Buchanan & Co., in the above words and figures, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed. The same was unanimously adopted and communicated to the House.
