Insolence Punished.
--Cyrus Maxfield, a worthless, drunken free negro, was arraigned before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of using insolent and provoking language to Mr. R. R. Robinson.
Cyrus introduced a white woman to show that he was entirely innocent of the charge, but His Honor was not disposed to credit her, and therefore ordered Cyrus to be striped.
