The South Atlantic of Baltimore — an admirable Literary Magazine — and our Papers will club to new subscribers at $5 per annum (instead of $6) for both Monthlies.
This arrangement ought to increase the circulation of both.
New Biographical Dictionary.--An excellent feature of the new edition of Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, just issued, is the new Biographical Dictionary, in which are given the names of nearly ten thousand noted persons of ancient and modern times, with a brief statement of the dates of their birth and death, their nationality, profession, etc. This is designed for purposes of ready reference, to answer the questions which often arise as to when and where certain persons lived, and the character of their achievements.
It contains many names of persons who are still living, and the pronunciation of each name is given.
Scribner and St. Nicholas for February fully maintain their high character.

Worcester's Unabridged Dictionary is too well known and appreciated to need any commendation from us. But our friend, J. W. Denmark, (agent for Virginia and North Carolina of the publishers, J. B. Lippincott & Co.,) has sent us a copy, which is certainly one of the finest specimens of the book-maker's art we have ever seen.
Its patent letters on the outer edges of the leaves is certainly a very ingenious and convenient contrivance.
The century and St. Nicholas not only maintain, but constantly increase, their high reputation.
