timoreAnnual Conference.Eighth day. Staunton, Va., March 21. The Conference met at 9 A. M. Religious exercises, by Rev. Samuel Cornelius. The Journal was read and approved. The Committee on Necessitous Cases presented their report. It was read and adopted. The first question was called.--"Who are admitted on trial?" The following were admitted: Robert N. Bear, Chas., A. Joyce, Gustavus W. Hobbs, Peter H. Whisner, James R. Green well, John H. Beckwith, M. G. Balthis, Adam Q. Flaherty, Geo. W. Carpenter, Lemuel Haslep, Geo Fielmire. The Committee on the Baltimore Advocate presented its report, accompanied by resolutions to the effect that-- 1. the Conference continue the responsibility of the publication of the paper. 2. that a publishing Committee of five be appointed, and that Rev. T. H. W. Monroe be appointed to the clerkship of the paper, at a salary of $1,000 per annum, and an allowance of $250 for house rent. 3. that the agents be responsib
