--Gen. Forrest had a skirmish with the enemy on Franklin turnpike on Tuesday, in which he killed 20 and wounded 50 or 60.
The enemy being largely reinforced, Forrest drew off by the road to Lavergne.
General Kirby Smith is quite indisposed in this city.
