Drugged and robbed. --Officer Granger arrested yesterday afternoon a seaman, named John Francis, upon the charge of robbing Philip Lybarger of three woolen coats, a silver watch, three hundred dollars in money, one ten-shooting pistol, two shirts, a pair of shoes, and sundry other articles, valued at about $1,300. Lybarger, who is a patient at the Naval Hospital, has been constantly attended for a few days past by Francis in the capacity of a friend, and after earnest entreaties, he consented to take a prescription which Francis assured him would cure the disease with which he was suffering. Soon after swallowing it, he fell into a sound sleep and did not awake till late yesterday morning, when he found that his room had been robbed of the articles specified above and Francis gone. The officer entrusted with the execution of the warrant succeeded, after the arrest of the accused, in ascertaining what had been done with the stolen property, which he secured with the exception of
