City Council. --A special called meeting of this body was held at the City Hall, at 4 o'clock, on Monday evening. Present; David J. Sounders, and a quorum. The application of Geo. A. Freeman, High Countable allowance on account of office rent, referred March 5th to the Committee on Public Grounds and Buildings, was reported on adversely — the committee asking to be discharged from its farther consideration. The report was received.
