A Southerner released from Fort Lafayette. We had an interview on Saturday with Mr. U. B. Harrold, of Macon, Georgia, who has recently arrived from Fort Lafayette, where he had been imprisoned for a period of three weeks. Mr. Harrold was at thMr. Harrold was at the North for the purpose of bringing home his two sisters and a niece, and was arrested at Jersey City for some imprudent expression of sentiment.--The circumstances in which he was placed rendered it, in our opinion, entirely justifiable that he shoof returning home and in doing so he adopted the advice of his fellow-captives at the Fort. Mr. Harrold was sent from Fortress Monroe to Norfolk under a flag of truce, and arrived in Richmond on Saturday morning.
