Hill, David Jayne 1850-
Author; born in Plainfield, N. J., June 10, 1850; graduated at Bucknell University in 1874; was president of that institution in 1879-88, and of the University of Rochester in 1888-96, and became first assistant Secretary of State Oct. 1, 1898.
