Hastings Court. --Thomas Dillshaw, indicted for grand larceny, was tried before the Hustings Court yesterday, and found by the jury sworn in his case guilty of petty larceny.--Judge Lyons thereupon sentenced him to six months in the city jail. John Moore, alias James Malone, was next put on trial for attempting to murder and rob Simon Jacobi, at the Spotswood House, a few months ago. The prisoner defended himself, and the case being submitted, the jury returned a verdict of guilty, and assessed his term of confinement in the Penitentiary at 10 years.--He was immediately sentenced, and taken over to the institution by the city sergeant.
