The Grand Chapel is to meet to-night, at the Masonic Hall, on Franklin street.
o the battery were killed. The 71st New York Regiment lost half their men. Killed.--Capt. Gordon, of a Massachusetts Regiment; Col. Slocum, of the 22d, and Lieut. Fowler, of the 14th N. Y. Regiments. Many other prominent officers were killed. Wounded.--Col. Tompkins and Col. Corcoran, of N. Y. Regiments; Col. Clarke, of 11th Massachusetts Regiment; Capt. Richetts, of U. S. Artillery; Col. Lawrence, of 5th Massachusetts Regiment; Capt. Ellis, of the 71st N. Y. Regiment, and Major Lester, of the New York Zouaves. The lowest estimate of the Federal loss, in killed and wounded, is from four to five thousand. Vague rumors are in circulation that Gen. Patterson arrived in the neighborhood of Manassas this morning and commenced an attack on the Confederates. The exhausted condition of his men prevented him from coming to the aid of McDowell during the battle. It is reported that 4,000 Federal troops have been sent to Fairfax C. H. Grand Lodge of Virginia. --The Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons met in this city on Monday night, Grand Master McDaniel presiding. The following officers have been elected for the ensuing year: Lewis B. Williams, of Orange, Grand Master. Wm. H. Harman, of Staunton, D. Grand Master. E. H. Lane, of Louisa, Grand Senior Warden. Wm. Terry, of Wytheville, Grand Junior Warden. Thomas U. Dudley, of Richmond, Grand Treasurer. John Dove, of Richmond, Grand Secretary. T. F. Owens, of Norfolk, Grand Senior Deacon. Wm. L. Maule, of Richmond, Grand Junior Deacon. Francis J. Boggs, of Richmond, Grand Chaplain. John Lester, of Richmond, Grand Pursuivant. Emanuel Semon, of Richmond, Grand Steward. Richard D. Sanxay, of Richmond, Grand Tiler. The proceedings, so far as heard from, were entirely harmonious and agreeable. The Lodge expected to terminate its session last night.

John Lester, sentenced July 28, 1862, from Chesterfield, black complexion, black hair and eyes, about 6 feet high, white spot on upper lip, scar on right shoulder, several little scars on right hand, and one on the left. 2. Wm Boone, free, sentenced in Southampton Nov. 13th, 1855, at the age of 24, brown complexion, black hair and eyes, and 5 feet six inches in height. 3. Mat Young, sentenced in city of Richmond May 16th, 1859, at the age of 23, mulatto, black hair and eyes, about 5 feet 5½ inches high, one scar on left arm, just above elbow, and two scars on right arm just above elbow, one of which is produced by vaccination, and two scars on left leg just below the knee, and one scar on right leg. 4. Manuel Taylor, free, sentenced from Lynchburg, April 1, 1862, age 26, black complexion, black hair and eyes, about 5
