Henrico mounted Guard. --A very fine company of dragoons, under the above name, was organized at the Westham House, on the plank road, in Sidney, on Monday, 17th March. The company numbers 130 men, all efficiently armed and prepared for duty, among whom may be found many thoroughly acquainted with the duties of the soldier from previous connections with volunteer companies. The following officers were chosen, viz: Captain, John F. Wren; 1st Lieutenant, B. W. Green, Jr.; 2d Lieutenant, Wm. M. McGruder; Junior 2d Lieutenant, Wm. N. Gardner. The company will, no doubt, be ordered on duty as videttes within the ten miles in which martial law has been proclaimed in and around the city, and, from their knowledge of localities and people, will be enabled to render good service in carrying its provisions into execution. Capt. Wren was for many years an officer in the old Henrico Light Dragons.
