No Theft. --James Sullivan, Frank McNellis, and Edward Egan, were before the Mayor to answer for stealing a locket and key from Frank Gordon, who was lying drunk in the street. The evidence disclosed the fact that all the parties were acquaintances, and were intoxicated. Gordon being drunkest, made a full length lodgment in the street, and his companions finding him, and wishing to take care of his effects, were emptying his pockets, when a citizen discovered them and had the entire party locked up. The Mayor fined each of the four one dollar, and held them all to bail for their future good behavior.
