Daring Exploit. --We learn from the Memphis Avalanche, of the 19th that a few nights previous Capt. March Miller learned that Gen. Prentius had sent eighty one guns to Milburn, fourteen miles above Columbus, for the use of Union men in that section. He went to that point with his boat, ascertained the whereabouts of the guns, captured and returned with them to New Madrid, where they are now in possession of the Southern Guards. Such feats may deter the first of gun-boats from attempting a descent of the Mississippi.
