Montague, William Lewis 1831-
Linguist; born in Belchertown, Mass., April 6, 1831; graduated at Amherst College in 1855; instructor in Latin and Greek in Williston Seminary; Professor of Modern Languages in Amherst College in 1864-94; and in 1896 removed to Paris, where he has since resided.
