Coal for the city. --In the Senate of Virginia, yesterday, Mr. Neeson, of Marion, introduced a resolution having for its object the impressment, on the part of the State, of the coal mines around Richmond, in order to furnish to the citizens of this city, and its environs, coal at reduced prices. The resolution was referred to an appropriate committee, with the understanding that early action will be taken in the matter. In the absence of General Randolph, the Senator from this city, who is now in Europe, Mr. Neeson steps forward for the relief of our people.
