--Sunday free negroes, including Jas. M. Boon, Ro. J. Smith, Josiah Jones, Richard Ballentine, and Godfrey Roberts, were sent to jail on yesterday, by the Mayor, for non-payment of taxes and vagrancy.

--Yesterday, Daniel McGinness was arraigned before the Mayer for confiscating to his own use $25 belonging to Robert Magill.
The deed being unauthorized by any recent act of Congress or the Legislature, McGinness was sent to jail to be tried before the Hustings Court. --Godfrey Roberts, free negro, arrested on suspicion, having been found in possession of two passes and a sword, was acquitted.--Francis T. O'Brien, arrested for attempting to play policeman while corned, on Sunday, was admonished and discharged.
John Beatty was acquitted of the charge of assaulting and beating Mary Tracy in her own house.--Jefferson H.
